POWDERSOLV is a family of proprietary and patented chemistries that has become the industry standard for safely eliminating iron-based pipeline debris referred to as "black powder" in natural gas pipelines and "rouge" in product/crude systems. Environmentally friendly, POWDERSOLV dissolves black powder on contact at neutral pH resulting in a non-hazardous waste thereby reducing hauling and landfill costs. When black powder is present with other contaminants such as paraffin and asphaltines, it often acts as a "binding agent." Including POWDERSOLV as a component of a customized cleaning solution when multiple contaminants are present insures clean pipelines with fewer pig runs.
